International Crops
Research Institute for the Semi-Arid-Tropics (ICRISAT) is a
non-profit agricultural research organization headquartered in
Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was founded in 1972 by a
consortium of organizations convened by the Ford and the
Rockefeller Foundations. ICRISAT has its regional centres at
Bulawayo (Zimbabwe), Nairobi (Kenya), Bamako (Mali), Niamey
(Niger), it is an Alliance of centers of the Consultative Group on
International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), and supported by more
than 48 governments, foundations, and development banks.
JOB DISCRIPTION
Should
have Bachelor’s degree in any branch of sciences, with
post-graduation in Fishery Sciences
Good
IT and communication skills is a must.
Prior
experience in IT-for-development projects will be an asset.
