However, in recent years the company's revenue and market share plunged into heavy losses due to intense competition in Indian telecommunications sector. BSNL is India's oldest and largest communication service provider. It has footprints throughout India except for the metropolitan cities of Mumbai and New Delhi, which are managed by Mahan agar Telephone Nigam (MTNL). JOB DESCRIPTION Applicant must possess, as on the closing date of receipt of applications i.e. 31.05.2013 from candidates, the educational qualifications in any of the following disciplines from a recognized Institute/University: Three Years Engineering Diploma in – Telecommunications Engineering ,Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering ,Radio Engineering, Computer Engineering, Instruments Technology, Information Technology. M.Sc. (Electronics) from a recognized institution/University. Telecom Technical Assistant shall be appointed in the IDA pay scale of Rs.13600-25420 with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay. In addition, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, LTC etc. will be admissible as per company rules. The emolument at the minimum of the pay scale will be around Rs.18360/- excluding HRA, perks, medical benefits, LTC etc. APPLICATION FEE Fee of Rs 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) is payable in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of Accounts Officer(Cash) of the concerned SSA, payable at the concerned SSA.Examination Date: 14.07.2013.
