JOB DESCRIPTION Hands on Experience in Embedded Mixed Signal board design. Working experience designing HW boards with 16/32 bit micro-controllers i.e. Free scale, TI, Microchip, ST Micro, Renesas etc.. Hands on experience with Embedded HW design including CPLD / FPGA and DSP based boards. Experience in Analog design with ADC, DAC, Op-Amps, sensor interfaces. Experience with wireless based designs i.e. Near field communication, Zigbee, Bluetooth, RFID etcis an added advantage. Experience working with Hardware interfaces and protocols like I2C, SPI, RS232C, RS485 and USB, Ethernet. Experienced in High speed board design with SDRAM, DDR2/3, Flash interfaces Board design for EMI/EMC and Safety compliance and testing. Hands on experience working with any one or more fields or application areas Analytical/ Medical / Aerospace/Automotive. Experience with FMEA, MTBF analysis for board designs. Working experience with Regulatory compliance standards like IEC/UL 61010-1, CSA, CE, ASM, RoHS compliance and testing etc. is an added advantage. Experience creating Test plans and testing the boards/product to the requirements. Experience with Tools: Schematic entry: OrCAD Capture, DX Designer, Altium etc. PCB design Tools: Exposure working with and guiding the PCB design team- OrCAD PCB design 16.5, PADS, Altium PCB designer tool etc. Experience working with PCB Design team in following aspects DFM, DFA ICT for board Testability Experience with IPC2221/7351 standards for PCB design Others: Working knowledge of version control systems VSS, CM Synergy, Agile database management system desirable Awareness and adherence to Product Development Life Cycle process.
