This Directorate deals with all issues pertaining to women and child, for its overall envelopment and empowerment. Various Welfare Schemes of Government of India and State Government meant for women and children are being implemented by this Directorate. The Head Office of the Directorate is situated at Shanta Building, 1st Floor, Panaji. There are eleven sub-offices each at Taluka level called “Integrated Child Development Services” (ICDS). JOB DESCRIPTION Applications are invited from prospective candidates for filling up various vacancies under the Directorate of Women & Child Development, Panjim as hereunder. Desirable Knowledge of Marathi . Mukhya Sevika Qualifications Degree from a recognized University preferably in Home Science/ Child Development/ nutrition/ Social Work. Knowledge of Konkani. Post : 08 (Reserved for: Ex-Serviceman–1,Children of Freedom Fighter–1,OBC–2,ST–1,Unreserved–3)  Posts. Age : Not exceeding 42 years (Relax able for Government servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions/orders issued by the Government. Salary : Rs.5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.2800/-. Junior Stenographer Qualifications : Higher Secondary School certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Should be computer literate. Speed of 100 words per minute in short hand and 35 words per minute in typewriting. Knowledge of Konkani .
